hipping has now ended for the 2020 Spring season. The plants are too large to ship safely this late in the season. We will resume taking orders for plants again in late September for Fall shipping. Customers who can come to the nursery to pick up their plants will be unaffected.

Online: You can order online using the shopping cart feature on this website. We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays and usually ship within one week of receiving your order during the shipping season which runs in the Spring from April through May and then resumes in the Fall. We are a retail nursery only so some plants are in limited supply. Please order early to ensure availability.

By using e-mail: Send us an email with the list of the plants you interested in purchasing with the delivery destination and we will send you an acknowledgement with availability and shipping charges included. You may pay with a credit card but please do not send your credit card information via e-mail. When you are ready to order call us on the phone with your card information or you can mail a personal check or money order.

At the nursery: You are welcome to come by and browse the entire collection and tour the gardens and purchase plants. Please read the new hours of operation section. You can also e-mail before you come to check on availability and we can have your plants ready for you when you arrive. We have many plants here at the nursery that you won't find on the website due to limited quantities or because they are too large to ship.

Shipping: Our shipping season begins in April and runs through May. We resume shipping in September. We will accept orders at any time of the year and will hold the plants for you until conditions are right for shipping.

Presently, we can only ship bare rooted plants to the following states;

This means there may be times when it is not feasible to ship plants to these states depending on their stage of growth. The best time for bare rooted plants to be shipped is either in the Spring or Fall when they are not actively growing. The plants will be well packed with damp sphagnum moss and newspaper and will need to be planted immediately upon arrival. To all other states we ship in pots with a soil-less potting mixture. The pots very in size from three inch to six inch according to the needs of the plant and its stage of growth.

International Orders: We are unable to ship plants internationally at this time. That might change in the future and if it does we will post the changes to the website.
